I compose music and perform comedy here in New York. I grew up in a town called Port Washington, out on Long Island. My mom works with animals and my dad is a retired businessman. I have an older brother named Austin.

I studied composition with Michael Hersch at Johns Hopkins University, and with Reiko Füting at the Manhattan School of Music. Nowadays, I write music for me and a handful of my friends. I also like doing it on the fly, trying to improvise music at the piano.

I do stand-up around the city. If you’d like to see my stand-up, I have a great deal of it posted on my instagram. In addition to stand-up comedy, I publish write-down comedy in a semi-regular humor periodical called The Index-Card Review. I also publish essays on a variety of topics right here on my website.
